Thirteen clerics were ordained in Jiangxi Province, southeastern China.

On April 16, Jiangxi CC&TSPM held an ordination ceremony in Shangrao City, where seven staff workers were ordained as pastors and six as elders, said CCC&TSPM.

At the ceremony, Rev. Li Yungeng, president of Jiangxi CC&TSPM, delivered a sermon titled “Stop Doubting and Believe," encouraging the newly ordained to listen to God's words, rely on God in all things, taste more of the Lord's goodness, and serve with joy in future ministry. Rev. Yao Baoshan, president of Jiangxi CC, questioned the candidates about the reaffirmation of their ordination vows. The pastoral staff about to be ordained then took turns walking to the stage to receive the laying on of hands, wear the stoles, and receive the Bible and the certificate of ordination.
