A pastoral ordination ceremony was held at a church in Jilin, northeast China.

On March 22nd, 14 pastoral workers from Changchun City were ordained as pastors by Jilin CC&TSPM at West Wuma Road Church in Changchun, Jilin province, according to CCC&TSPM.

Rev. Ren Dazhong, president and chairman of the provincial CC&TSPM, preached a sermon titled “The Duties of Pastorship”, citing Ephesians 4:11-14. She recounted the origins of pastoral ministry, urging staff workers about to be ordained to be clear of their duties, to serve believers humbly, and to be an example to the flock.
