A total of nine pastors and one elder were ordained by the Shaanxi and Guangdong Provincial CC&TSPMs.
An ordination ceremony was held in the auditorium of Shaanxi Bible School for six pastors on November 6, according to the Shaanxi Provincial CC&TSPM. Rev. Wang Hong, vice chairman and vice president of the Provincial CC&TSPM and the president of the school, shared a sermon titled "Dedicated Service", encouraging the soon-to-be ordained clergymen to continue to deepen in the service of teaching and pastoring with authority and intellect.
The day before, another ordination ceremony took place at Gospel Church in Weixing District, Heyuan City, with 3 pastors and 1 elder being appointed, according to Guangdong Provincial CC&TSPM. Based on 2 Timothy 2:15, Rev. Guo Yun, president of the provincial CC&TSPM, preached a sermon with the title "A Worker Who Doesn't Need to be Ashamed", encouraging the ordained clergymen to be good and faithful servants of God.
Heyuan City is located in the Hakka Mountains of Guangdong Province. There are 97 registered churches and more than 30,000 believers.
"The ordination has enabled the pastoral team in Heyuan City to be replenished in a timely manner," said the provincial CC&TSPM.
