An ordination ceremony was conducted in China’s southeastern coastal Fujian Province.

Fujian Provincial CC&TSPM ordained 21 pastors in Tianfu Church, Jianyang District, Nanping City, on September 8, with nearly 500 representatives of staff members and believers in attendance, according to CCC&TSPM.

Based on Mark 10:35-45, Rev. Lin Delai, vice president and director general of Fujian Christian Council, preached a sermon with the title "Learning to be a Good Shepherd in the New Era", encouraging new pastors to understand the connotation of serving and to be humble and diligent servants. They were also urged to reject worldly desires, pursue spiritual growth, and practice the gift of service with the spirit of self-denial.

After the newly-ordained clergy shared their understanding of the office to which they have been called, the pastorate laid hands on them presenting holy robes and bibles.
