Guangdong Ordains 2 Pastors, 3 Elders

12月15日上午，广东省基督教两会在汕头市潮阳区棉城堂为2位牧师，3位长老举行按立圣职典礼，据中国基督教两会。

广东省基督教三自爱国会主席樊宏恩牧师、省基督教两会秘书长兼总干事林恩灵牧师、詹海烈牧师、方俊光牧师、汕头市基督教两会黄任斯牧师和胡世忠牧师组成按立圣职牧师团。来自汕头市基督教两会、汕头潮阳区和潮南区各堂点教牧同工及弟兄姐妹300多人参加了本次典礼，同颂主恩

在由汕头市基督教协会会长方俊光牧师主持的按立典礼中，汕头市基督教三自爱国会主席詹海烈牧师讲了一篇道，引用《提摩太后书》二章第十五节。他劝勉接受圣职的同工要有奉献的心志、谦卑虚己学习顺服、做良善忠心的仆人。

此次新按立圣职的五位同工进一步充实了汕头教会的教牧队伍，有效缓解了基层区域教会缺乏圣职人员的牧养现状

New clergy were ordained in a Guangdong Church.  

Guangdong CC&TSPM held an ordination ceremony for 2 pastors and 3 elders in Miancheng Church in Chaoyang District, Shantou City on December 15, according to CCC&TSPM.

Rev. Fan Hongen, chairman of Guangdong CC&TSPM, Rev. Lin Enling, secretary-general and director-general of the provincial CC&TSPM, and other pastors formed a pastorate of the ordination, with more than 300 people attending.

In the ceremony hosted by Rev.Fang Junguang, president of Shantou CC&TSPM, Rev. Zhan Hailie, chairman of Shantou CC&TSPM delivered a sermon, citing 2 Timothy 2:15. He encouraged these newly appointed persons to humble themselves, to obey with dedicated heart, and to be good and faithful servants.

The ordination has further enriched the pastoral team in Shantou City, relieving the status of lacking clergymen in the grassroots churches.
