Jiangsu Church Hosts Service Themed Bible Day

中国东部沿海的江苏省的一个教堂举行“中国教会圣经日”主题崇拜。

在苏州相城堂，汪晓明牧师于12月11日，证道以《神所默示的圣经》为题分享。劝勉信众要凡事依靠仰望神，把圣经的话语当作脚前的灯，路上的光。

崇拜中，来自不同民族和地区的六位基督徒，身穿唐装与旗袍，分别用苏州话、河南话、闽南话、常州话、重庆话、大理话、白族话诵读了诗篇121篇，将中国不同地区的方言韵味和圣经真理完全融为一体。

“圣经日不仅提醒信众更加要关注神的话语，树立圣经权威。也坚定信徒的信仰根基，抵制异端邪教，”据苏州市基督教两会。

基督教全国两会在上世纪90年代初将每年12月的第二主日设定为中国教会的圣经日。

A church in Jiangsu Province held a Sunday service with the theme, "Chinese Church Bible Day".

In Xiangcheng Church, Suzhou City, Rev. Wang Xiaoming gave a sermon entitled "God-Breathed Scriptures" on December 11, encouraging believers to rely on God and His word which is a lamp of their feet and a light of their path.

During the service, six Christians from different ethnic groups and regions, wearing Tang suits and cheongsams, recited Psalm 121 in Suzhou, Henan, Hokkien, Changzhou, Chongqing, Dali, and Bai dialects respectively. They integrated the truth of the Bible with dialects in different regions.

According to the Suzhou CC&TSPM, "On Bible Day, Christians are urged to pay more attention to His word, to strengthen the foundation of their faith, and to use the Bible's authority to resist heresy and cults".

In the early 1990s, CCC&TSPM set the second Sunday (including Saturday) in December as Bible Day for Chinese churches.
