A centennial church in China’s eastern-coastal Jiangsu Province held the fourth quarter’s memorial service, in which seven families reflected on the lives of their deceased loved ones.

During the service hosted by Apostle Church in Suzhou on October 27, Rev. Chen Meng encouraged believers to live out the life of Christ with a heart of hope and the correct understanding of life. Family members were invited to give speeches to recall their deceased relatives with gratitude to God, said Suzhou CC&TSPM.

“Through this service, the pastor is engaged in comforting the family of the deceased, keeping their hope alive, helping them understand the way of life, and passing along the Christian faith.”
