Fujian Centennial Church Holds 'Messiah' Praise Meeting

10月19日，福建省厦门市竹树堂发布通知，该堂将于10月23日（主日）晚举行赞美会，献唱曲目选自世界著名清唱剧《弥赛亚》，共计17首歌曲。届时将会有男、女中高音独唱、男女声二重唱以及合唱先后登台，据竹树堂。

通知提醒会众可通过关注竹树堂微信公众号进行提前预约，并在遵守教堂防疫措施的前提下进入教堂参加活动。此外，14天内若有中高风险地区旅居史的信徒可通过网络渠道观看赞美会直播。

A century-old church in China’s southeastern coastal Fujian Province will hold an oratorio "Messiah" (selection) praise meeting on Sunday.

On October 19, Zhushu Church in Xiamen City, Fujian Province issued a notice that the church will hold a praise meeting on the evening of October 23rd (Sunday), selecting a total of 17 songs from the world-famous oratorio "Messiah". There will be male and female soprano solos, male and female duets, and a chorus on stage one after another, according to the church.

This notice reminds the congregation that they can make reservations in advance by following the WeChat public account of the church and entering the church to participate in activities under the premise of complying with the church's pandemic prevention measures. In addition, believers who have been in medium and high-risk areas within the previous 14 days are not allowed to attend it but can watch the live broadcast of the praise meeting through online channels instead.
