In order to help the newly graduated pastoral staff to serve better, a church in Fujian Province on the southeastern coast of China held pre-job training.

Xiuyu District CC&TSPM in Putian City, Fujian Province, held the first pre-job training class at Dongzhuang Church from July 20 to 22. A total of 16 co-workers graduating from the seminary within three years participated in the training, according to the provincial CC&TSPM.

In this training, Rev. Huang Songyan taught the course "System and Management", Rev. Lin Xiuying "Marriage and Funeral Ceremony", Rev. Lin Libing "Character and Interpersonal Relationships", and Rev. Guo Youxiang "Preaching and Sermons".

The training class included morning devotion, fellowship, and trial lectures. Each staff member shared three sermons involving 13 subjects, such as New Year, Palm Sunday, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Christmas, Holy Baptism, Holy Communion, weddings, funerals, and respect for the elders.
