A church in China’s southeastern coastal province of Zhejiang announced that a social for singles would be held during the summer break.

On June 12, Chengbei Church in Hangzhou said it was planning to hold a social on July 2 for its members aged 25-40 without a marriage history or dating partners and that Rev. Chen Fengsheng would give a speech entitled, "The Covenant". It reminded believers to sign up between June 5 and 19.
