A church in south China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region reopened after five weeks of prayer and waiting, being the first church in Beihai that has resumed in-person gatherings.
On April 24, the first Sunday after Easter 2022, Hepu Church in Beihai City which had been closed since March 20 resumed two Sunday services, one in Cantonese in the morning and the other in Mandarin in the evening.
In addition, choir rehearsal on Friday evening and the Youth Fellowship on Saturday evening have also restarted, with preparations for all the fellowships and groups for the services and activities.
The congregation entered the church to read the Bible, pray, and praise God, following the COVID-19 protocols, including showing their health codes, wearing masks, and sitting at intervals as per the social distancing requirements.
In the morning service, Pastor Li De’rong preached a sermon with the title "Because He Lives", citing 1 Corinthians 1:3 to 9. After reading John 10:38-42 in the evening, Zhang Yezhong, senior pastor of Beihai Church and president of Beihai Christian Council (CC), gave a sermon titled "A Family Jesus Delights in".
During the services, the church gave a church council report, publicizing the financial information on the income and expenses of offerings.

广西壮族自治区北海市合浦县基督教堂在从3月20日因为疫情“双暂停”之后，历时5个礼拜的祈祷、等待后，于2022年4月24日的主日终于再次迎来线下实地崇拜聚会。成为北海市率先复堂的教会。
与此同时，合浦堂的各个团契、小组也做好了聚会、侍奉的预备。除主日正常聚会外，礼拜五晚间的诗班练唱、礼拜六晚间的青年团契活动也将随之恢复。
合浦堂此次的复会，分为上午和晚间两场。上午的聚会崇拜为当地的“白话”（粤语）、晚场的聚会为国语（普通话）。
参加聚会崇拜的弟兄姊妹们按照要求戴口罩、扫健康码（或登记）、隔位就坐、入堂保持一米线距离，有序地进入圣殿，读经、祷告、赞美，静候传道人证道。
上午的聚会李德荣教士带领会众诵读新约哥林多前书1章3至9节的经文，并以《只因他活着》为题为主证道。晚场北海市基督教协会会长、北海市基督教堂张业忠牧师带领会众读新约路加福音10章38至42节经文，与会众分享《耶稣喜悦的一家》讲章。
聚会期间，教堂向会众做了《堂务报告》，包括奉献收入和支出情况的财务公开报告。
