Zhejiang Church Donates Clothes to Yunnan Ethnic Minorities in Poverty

浙江一教会号召信徒将家里一些闲置的各种八成以上新的衣服收集起来，捐赠给云南省少数民族贫困家庭。

短短几天时间内收集了近千件（其中新男式西装200多套、新冬装100多件）衣物。价值达8万元以上。

3月2日上午，椒江堂负责人孔爱卿老师带领大家一起把20多包打包好的衣服搬到小四轮车上，由一个弟兄送到路桥物流，再转发到云南省怒江傈僳族福贡。此次运费1280元。

椒江堂，为少数民族贫困地区捐赠衣物至今已举行数十次，为新疆、云南、四川、广西、黔西南州等少数民族地区、贫困孩子送去爱心物资及爱心包裹。

A church in China’s southeastern coastal Zhejiang Province sent unused clothing to impoverished ethnic minority households in Yunnan Province.

Responding to the church’s call, the members of Jiaojiang Church in Taizhou donated nearly 1000 pieces of clothing (including more than 200 men’s suits and 100 pieces of winter clothing), which are above 80% new and valued more than 80,000 yuan, the church reported.

On March 2, after being carried to a small open truck by church members, more than 20 bags of packed clothes were sent to a local logistics and transported to Lisu ethnic group in Fugong County, Nujiang, Yunnan, with the shipping cost of 1,280 yuan.  

Up until now, the church has launched dozens of donation campaigns to ethnic minorities and poor children in Xinjiang, Yunnan, Sichuan, Guangxi, and Guizhou.
