A Zhejiang church frequently contributes to the poverty alleviation effort in Yunnan minority areas.

On January 11, Jiaojiang Church in Taizhou, Zhejiang, donated 24 bags of clothes worth 80,000 yuan to a village of Old Town in Lijiang City, Yunnan Province. This was in response to a letter sent by a person from the village to the head of the church, saying some families needed clothes for winter, the church reported.
