Shanghai Agape Foundation co-initiated a charity program with a local hospital for children suffering from clubfoot.
Congenital talipes equinovaru is a common children's development disorder, a disease that affects children’s bone and joint development. Due to financial difficulties, some child patients may become permanently disabled after missing the best treatment period.
The charity program titled “Love Racing” assists each child diagnosed with clubfoot under 18 with more than 10,000 yuan. The families of these children in extreme poverty can upgrade funding limits after negotiation, according to Shanghai CC&TSPM.
Lasting one year, the project receives a fund of 200,000 yuan, marking the second cooperation between the foundation established by Shanghai Christian Council in 2015 and the Shanghai Children's Hospital.
