Churches in four different provinces announced the recent suspensions of in-person Sunday services or gatherings due to a second wave of COVID-19.
On October 30, Ulanhot Church in Inner Mongolia released a notice to halt three Sunday services which would be held virtually from that day on, but the Thursday Bible study and Saturday prayer meeting will be conducted as usual.
On the same day, Hada Church and Nangang Church in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province issued notices on their official WeChat accounts, stating that all onsite services and gatherings would be suspended from that day onwards.
On October 31, Beigong Church in Weicheng District, Weifang City, Shandong Province, announced that all churches and sites in Weicheng District were in lockdown till further notice following the guidelines of higher authorities.
Last Friday, Beizheng Street Church in Changsha City, Hunan Province, said its Sunday service would be temporarily halted in accordance with the pandemic restrictions.
On October 31, in the Chinese mainland, 92 new coronavirus cases were confirmed, 59 of which were locally transmitted, according to the National Health Commission of the PRC.

10月30日,内蒙古乌兰浩特基督教会在公众号平台发通知,由于当前疫情严峻,该堂自10月30日起,暂停主日聚会活动(主日教堂不再开放),三场聚会均采取网络直播的方式进行礼拜,恢复开放时间另行通知。另外,周四查经会、周六祷告会正常开放。
