Nanjing Christian Bookstore Launches Sign Language Training Course for Hearing Persons

10月19日，葡萄园书房通过公众号发布告知，“听人学手语”培训课程将于10月23日（周六）正式恢复，课程时间为下午2：30至4：00，手语老师为陈丽荣姊妹（聋人），授课免费。

2020年9月以来，位于南京市鼓楼区的葡萄园书房的“听人学手语” 听人（即健全人）培训课程已经持续了一年有余的时间，由于7月中旬南京疫情影响，课程无奈暂停。

在分别近3个月之后，团契重新开放。据介绍，陈老师毕业于黑龙江神学院特殊教育研习班，目前正在南京某教会从事全职聋人事工。

望在聋人事工上有负担的弟兄姊妹积极报名，参加手语培训。

A training course themed "Hearing People Learn Sign Language" was resumed last Saturday in Nanjing, Jiangsu.

On its official WeChat account last Tuesday, Nanjing Vineyard Bookstore in Gulou District announced the continuation of the course training people with normal hearing to serve or communicate with deaf people on Saturday afternoon.

After starting back in September 2020, the training course was later suspended for three months since mid-July this year due to a second wave of COVID-19 in Nanjing. The class was given for free by a deaf female Christian named Chen Lirong, who graduated from the special education seminar of Heilongjiang Theological Seminary and is currently engaged full time in the deaf fellowship of a Nanjing church.

At the end of the announcement, it stated that believers who would like to serve in the deaf ministry were welcome to sign up.
