As local COVID-19 outbreaks subsided, churches in two provinces announced the continuations of in-person gatherings recently.

On October 12, Urad Front Banner Church in Bayannur City, Inner Mongolia, stated its reopening from October 17, reminding churchgoers to attend Sunday morning service in accordance with the measures of pandemic prevention and control.

The next day, on its official WeChat account, Meishan Gospel Church in Nanping City, Fujian Province, announced that onsite Sunday services had resumed.
