Shanghai Churches Hold Special Services for the Elderly Prior to Double Ninth Festival

在2021年敬老节即将来临之际，为倡导全社会进一步树立尊老、敬老、爱老、助老的良好风气，上海市金山区基督教各活动场所在10月10的主日举行了专场敬老礼拜，预祝老人们节日快乐、身体健康、如鹰展翅上腾、晚年更加幸福蒙恩。

石化临恩堂、亭林耶稣堂、张堰耶稣堂、枫泾天命堂、朱泾耶稣堂、阮巷耶稣堂、高桥聚会点、金山嘴聚会点等，首先以圣经的教导勉励众信徒要更好地敬老尊长、勉励老年信徒要更加追求生命的丰盛。

枫泾天命堂在礼拜开始前开展了为老人量血压、测血糖等服务；中青年信徒为80岁以上的信徒戴上喜庆的大红花；唱诗班成员为老人们送上情意满满的礼品。

为鼓励众信徒更好地爱国爱教、荣神益人，天命堂在礼拜之前专门举行了“老义工见证会”，中青年信徒为老义工们戴上了荣耀的大红胸花，并带去深深的祝福和感谢。

场面温馨，令人感动。

正如教会负责同工所感言的：正是这些老年信徒常年来为教会发展等献上恳切的祷告，并积极参加教会各项事工，任劳任怨、默默无闻，使得我们教会不断健康发展，为主作出美好见证。

在2021年敬老节即将来临之际，枫泾天命堂探访组对堂里80岁以上老年弟兄姊妹进行了探访并送上爱心慰问。

枫泾天命堂老年弟兄姊妹虔诚爱主，不仅在信仰上有宝贵的追求，在奉献上也有爱心的付出；他们为神的家，恳切祷告、任劳任怨、默默奉献。

80岁的徐云美老姊妹，几十年如一日，在神的家作出了信心的功夫、爱心的劳苦、荣耀的盼望。

Churches and meeting points in Jinshan District, Shanghai held special services for the elderly prior to the Double Ninth Festival which falls on October 14 this year. 

Last Sunday, God Coming Church, Jesus Church, the Immortal Church, Gaoqiao Meeting Point, Jinshanzui Meeting Point, and other churches encouraged their congregations to honor the elderly and exhorted senior believers to pursue more abundant life, according to the Jinshan District CC&TSPM.

Before the special Sunday service, the Immortal Church in Fengjing Town offered medical services including blood pressure and glucose measurements to older Christians. Young and middle-aged believers put big flowers on the chest of elderly church volunteers above 80. The choir then presented gifts to the elderly. 

The visitation team also visited the homes of the members above the age of 80, bringing funds to them.
