On the occasion of the Double Ninth Festival in 2020, Jinshan churches showed their love to the elderly, according to Jinshan District CC&TSPM of Shanghai.
On the afternoon of October 18th, Elder Chen Zhimin, director of the Jinshan District CC&TSPM, Pastor Zhang Jinhua, deputy director of the district CC&TSPM and the head of Tinglin Jesus Church, Elder Xu Jinfang, a retired co-worker, and Pastor Cai Danfeng, a young volunteer, visited a nursing home in Tinglin Town. They gave milk, biscuits and other items worth nearly 10,000 yuan to 100 elderly people, and expressed their best wishes for their continued good health. The leaders of the nursing home expressed their gratitude to the church leaders for caring for the elderly in the society, and the elderly were happy and grateful.
Under the leadership of Pastor Gu Haiying, Zhangyan Jesus Church visited Elder Yang Xizhen, and elders in the church and community, and shared gifts and blessings with them. They enjoyed the festival as they felt the warmth of the church.

张堰耶稣堂在顾海英传道的带领下，探访了教会老前辈杨希真长老、教会老人，以及社区老人，为他们送上了祝福的礼物，老人们既倍感教会的温暖、也享受到了节日的快乐。
石化临恩堂在何春金牧师的带领下，每年为金山区第一福利院、石化街道敬老院等老人送上一片爱心，在社会上引起了良好的反响。
枫泾天命堂在还天霞传道的带领下，为小区公共场所的社区老人安装了一套崭新的健身器材。老人们边使用边开心地说到：教会为社区办了一件大好实事。
