A Hebei church held a retreat and evangelistic meetings between October 4-6.
In Daming County Church, Handan City, China’s northern Hebei Province, the retreat and meetings were hosted by Wang Zhenhe from Nanjie Church in Daming County, with Elder Fang Lingquan and Elder Peng as the speakers. During the three-day event, the retreat was held during the day and meetings for catechumens at night.
In the first two days, based on Psalm 67:1-7, Elder Fang shared two sermons with the themes "God's Blessings to People" and "Those Blessed Should Bless Others".
In the first sermon, he mentioned that the Israelites of that time believed that God's blessing was to make them materially rich, citing some misconceptions that believers had about blessing today. Through the parable of the prodigal son and other bible stories, he exhorted the congregation to believe in God's mercy and blessing which was to bring rest to all things. The two stories of God’s promise to Abraham and Jacob’s experience of crossing the ford of the Jabbok pointed out that God’s blessing was giving a promise to return to rest so that people could live in peace for generations.
In the second sermon, Fang talked about his experience of preaching the gospel to his fellow patients when he was hospitalized with eye diseases, encouraging believers to pass on the blessings they received from God. He pointed out that God first chose one member of the couple to be a channel of blessing. Sharing his own mission experience, he used the examples of Paul and modern missionaries to state that it was extremely important to share the gospel, even in difficulties. He emphasized the importance of the concept of universal mission, indicating that global revival was the real revival. In addition to this, he encouraged listeners to bring unbelievers to participate in the evening meetings.
In the last day, citing Acts 11:24, Elder Peng shared the story of Barnabas who was filled with the Holy Spirit and was a good person that led many people to believe in God.

10月4日-6日，河北省邯郸市大名县基督教会举办培灵会暨布道会。
由大名县南街教会会长王振河主持，特别邀请了讲师方灵泉长老和彭长老。为期三天的活动中，白天培灵，晚上则是针对慕道友的布道会。
在前两天的培灵会上，方长老围绕经文诗篇67:1-7，分别以“上帝对人的赐福”和“得神祝福的人要去祝福他人”为题分享。
在“上帝对人的赐福”中，他提到当时的以色列人认为神赐福，就是让物质变富足，以此例举了当今信徒一些对赐福的不正确理解。通过浪子的比喻等圣经故事，他劝勉会众相信上帝的怜悯，上帝的赐福是要叫万物得享安息。神对亚伯拉罕的应许和经历雅博渡口的雅各两个故事，指出神赐福是叫人得应许，归回安息，叫人代代得在安息中活。
在“去祝福人”的分享中，方长老讲述了自己在眼疾住院时，向病友传道的经历，鼓励大家将得到的神的祝福传递出去。他指出，神先拣选夫妻中的一人，是为了让其成为祝福的通道。他还分享了自己宣教的经历，以保罗与近代宣教士的事迹为例，指出传福音是极其重要的，即使有困难也要坚定。他强调了普世宣教观念的重要性，指出真正的复兴是全地的复兴。说到这里，他鼓励信徒积极地带没有信主的人来参加这几天晚上的布道会。
在最后一天的培灵会上，彭长老围绕使徒行传11:24节分享了巴拿巴的故事，巴拿巴是个好人，他被圣灵充满以及许多人因着巴拿巴而信主。
布道会安排在每日培灵会晚七点半，4-5日晚布道会由方长老主持，6日晚布道会由彭长老主持。
