A Beijing Church announced the continuation of in-person Sunday services from September 12.
In the announcement issued last Thursday on its official WeChat account, Gangwashi Church stated that the gathering time and sessions would remain the same, reminding its congregation to book their places via WeChat, telephone, or on the spot first and to follow the COVID-19 protocols when entering the sanctuary.
The Gangwashi Church was first rented for a hospital by the Christian and Missionary Alliance of London in 1863, and also used for religious services. Since the reopening in the 1980s, this church went from a hundred followers to more than 6,000 today.
