Construction of New Shanghai Church Begins

嘉定区基督教以琳堂经过多年筹备，在各级领导的关心和众同工共同的努力下将于近日破土动工。

 8月28日上午，嘉定区基督教两会在建设工地举行了开工感恩典礼。因疫情防控要求，一切从简，虽然参加典礼人数不多，时间也简短。感恩典礼由嘉定区基督教两会秘书长陈琴牧师主持，区基督教两会副主任卢雪芬牧师读经，区基督教两会主任杨玉兰牧师祝福祷告。

 在不久的将来，一座坐落于嘉定区新成路街道澄浏中路练祈河畔的以琳堂将展现在我们面前。相信建成后的以琳堂将成为这个地区的金灯台，做光做盐，服务人群。

A thanksgiving service for the ground-breaking of a new church in the Jiading District was held last Saturday after many years of preparation.

Due to COVID-19, just a few people attended the short and simple ceremony, which was led by Rev. Chen Qin, secretary-general of Jiading District CC&TSPM, with blessings from Rev. Yang Yulan, director of the district CC&TSPM, according to Shanghai CC&TSPM.

The new Elim Church will be built next to the Lianqi River, Chengliu Middle Road, Xincheng Road.
