Pudong New Area CC&TSPM in Shanghai on Wednesday released an announcement of the suspension of collective gatherings from that day till further notice, according to the requirements of pandemic prevention and control.

According to the Shanghai Municipal Health Commission on Tuesday, the city reported a new case of COVID-19 on Monday, who was a male driver aged 53. He was responsible for the closed-loop transport of foreign airlines’ freighter crew at Pudong Airport in Shanghai.

All relevant personnel of Pudong International Airport and residents of Xiyuan Community in Chuansha New Town, Pudong New Area, were arranged to take nucleic acid tests overnight, and no additional cases have been found to date.
