Zhejiang Christians Help the Disabled with Physical Examinations

为尊重关爱每一位残疾人的身心健康，椒江教会的信徒参加台州市博爱者协会帮助残疾人朋友体检项目活动。

2021年8月20日早上，台州市博爱者协会志愿者来到椒江区章安街道卫生院，帮助章安街道残疾人之家的残疾朋友进行身体检查公益活动。

上午，为了使20多位的残疾人顺利开展身体检查，志愿者有序引导残疾人一个个进入各科室进行检查。有些残疾人走路不便者，志愿者就为他们推轮椅，有些残疾人智力障碍患者，志愿者就手牵手把他们带进科室体检。

经过志愿者的努力，卫生院医生开启的绿色通道，这20多位残疾人在10点前顺利通过各项体检。协会志愿者为每一位体检人员配送面包和矿泉水，残疾朋友们个个都表示感谢！

In China’s coastal-northeastern Zhejiang Province, volunteers from Jiaojiang Church in Taizhou helped the disabled to attend physical examinations.

In a local health service center, 20 handicapped residents from the Home for Disabled in Zhang’an Street, Jiaojiang District, participated in the public welfare activity held last Friday by Taizhou Municipal Charity Association.

The health center opened the green channel through the efforts of volunteers. For some disabled people with limited mobility, members of the charity association pushed wheelchairs for them. Others led those with mental disabilities into the department for examination hand in hand.

Before 10 o'clock, each disabled person completed the medical check-up, receiving bread and mineral water from volunteers with a grateful heart.
