Exhibition for Centennial Church to Be Held in Liaoning

为了回顾基督教宣教士先驱在100余年前和迄今为止的传教脚踪和历史，辽阳市基督教两会将在辽阳基督教堂举办“辽阳百年堂历史回顾展”。

位于祖国东北南端的辽宁省辽海地区的营口、牛庄、本溪等地是基督教新教传入较早的地区。位于古城辽阳市白塔区东三道街的辽阳基督教堂，始建于1888年，距今已有130多年的历史。

据辽阳市基督教协会会长王润涛牧师介绍，目前展会已在紧张有序的布展中，已基本就绪。预计在五一节期间可以在确保防疫安全的前提下对主内开展。

Liaoyang Municipal CC&TSPM in China's northeastern Liaoning Province is to hold a retrospective exhibition for the century-old Liaoyang Church.

Yingkou, Niuzhuang, Benxi and other places in the Liaohai region of Liaoning Province at the southern end of northeast China are the areas where Protestantism was brought to the country in earlier times. The Liaoyang Church, located in Dongsandao Street, Baita District, Liaoyang City, was built in 1888 with a history of more than 130 years.

As the exhibition arrangement is now basically ready, it is expected to be opened to Christians during the May Day period, under the premise of ensuring safety and carrying out pandemic prevention and control, according to Rev. Wang Runtao, president of Liaoyang CC&TSPM (Christian Council & Three-Self Patriotic Movement).
