Two Guangdong Churches Cancel In-person Worship

随着新冠疫情反弹，新春佳节临近，广东两所教堂宣布暂停线下聚会。

根据《关于印发广东省2021年春节期间新冠肺炎疫情防控工作方案的通知》，为做好市宗教领域疫情防控工作，开平市基督教会新昌堂、深圳市基督教沙头角堂于2月1日起暂停线下礼拜聚会，恢复时间另行通知。

线下礼拜聚会暂停后，各堂在网上开设了主日崇拜直播，并劝勉弟兄姐妹居家祷告、灵修。

此外，教会提醒信徒春节期间做好个人防护，减少人群聚集。

With the Spring Festival approaching, two churches in Guangdong announced the temporary cancellation of on-site gatherings due to the resurgence of COVID-19.

According to the Notice of the COVID-19 Prevention and Control during the Spring Festival 2021 in Guangdong Province, Xinchang Church in Kaiping City and Shatoujiao Church in Shenzhen suspended in-person services on February 1 further notice.

As all on-site gatherings halted, each church set up a live broadcast of Sunday worship services online and encouraged brothers and sisters to pray and do devotions at home. 

The congregation members are also reminded to protect themselves against the virus and reduce crowds during the Spring Festival.
