On Sunday, November 8, Jesus Church in Zhujing County, Jinshan District of Shanghai, held a baptism service for 14 persons.

Elder Chen Zhimin, director of Jinshan District CC&TSPM and a staff worker of the Church, gave a sermon entitled, "Three Characteristics of Christians," according to Jinshan CC&TSPM of Shanghai.

Explaining the meaning of baptism, he encouraged the seekers to act properly, to build body, to develop a strong spiritual life and to give a beautiful testimony to the Lord.

After taking the pre-baptism class and passing the test demonstrating their faith, the 14 catechumens were solemnly baptized. Later they participated in the communion service.

Before the baptism, pastor Wang Xinghua and elderly sister Shen Zaiying and co-workers from the church prepared masks, hand sanitizers and thermometers and assigned special personnel to be responsible for registration.
