Three churches in Dalian, China’s northeastern Liaoning Province, reopened again to the public on Sunday after more than a one-month lockdown due to coronavirus.
Before the first reopening in early July, all the registered churches in Dalian had been shut down for about five months.
As the second wave of local COVID-19 infections and Typhoon Bavi died down, Quanshui Church welcomed its congregation back on August 30.
On the way to the church, a church co-worker showed her joy since she and other sisters had been praying for the reopening of the church for 20 hours.
Attendees were asked to show their health and tracking codes, have their temperature measured, and leave their names and contact details. The chairs in the church, placed socially-distanced in front of altars, at the main hall and the side chapel, were all full of people.
After he greeted the congregation, Pastor Wan Shifu preached a sermon entitled “The Zacchaeus Who Seeks Salvation” , citing Luke 19. He urged the congregation to obey the command of the Lord Jesus and receive him gladly as Zacchaeus did.
Nine newcomers responded and prayed to believe in Jesus during the altar call.
Other local churches, including Fengshou Lu Church and Jinzhou Church, were also reopened.

大连基督教泉水堂再次迎来复堂聚会
历经第二次疫情卷土重来、历经第二次暂停聚会，时隔一个多月，基督教大连泉水堂在2020年8月30日的主日再次恢复线下实地聚会了！
礼拜日这天，笔者在早晨六点多钟就出发前往泉水堂参加上午八点三十分的第一场聚会。
路上，遇到两位女士，在兴高采烈的聊去教堂聚会的事情，原来也是泉水堂的同工。
她们也认出了笔者，彼此边走边聊。
一位姊妹说，感谢主！
大连是一个神看顾的宝地，第二次疫情过去了、台风巴威也过去了，现在又能去教堂了，大家很开心！
另一位姊妹向笔者介绍了她们二十小时守望祷告的事工，表达了对教会复堂的热切期盼。
当我们来到教堂正门，早已有信徒依次排队在等候进入圣殿了。
大家按照要求出示健康码、行程码、测温、登记，有秩序的在服务组的同工们指引下依次进入教堂，按照规定在座位上坐好。
笔者注意到，虽然是座位有限，但是一楼主堂里面在八点之前就已经坐满了前来聚会的信徒，二楼两个副堂也是同样，楼上楼下可以说是座无虚席（允许的范围内）。
在圣乐中，万世福牧师身着洁白的圣服登上圣台，问候久违的弟兄姊妹主内平安，然后带领会众诵读新约圣经路加福音十九章的经文，以《寻找拯救的撒该》为讲章主题为主证道。
他劝勉信徒像撒该一样，立即执行主耶稣的命令，欢欢喜喜的接待主耶稣。
证道结束后，有九位弟兄姊妹在万世福牧师呼召下，勇敢的走上前来，接受主进入他们的心中，成为基督徒。
大连今天主日复堂的还有丰收路教堂、金州教堂等。
