Yancheng's First Anti-cult Education Center Unveiled

盐城市首个宗教领域反邪教警示教育基地在阜宁县益林教堂揭牌。

据盐城市三自爱国运动会，10月25日，盐城市、阜宁县多位政府领导出席揭牌仪式，并带领与会人员参观了教育基地。与会人员观看了当前的反邪教警示教育宣传片，了解全市反邪教工作的成果。

宁县委常委、统战部部长陈艳燕强调阜宁县建设反邪教警示教育基地，是应对当前境外基督教渗透和治理非法宗教活动的迫切需求。她指出，该基地的建立为全县宗教场所起到了良好示范作用，有助于推动全市宗教领域反邪教教育常态化。她建议：宗教界应依托场所内外的反邪教宣传墙、宣传橱窗，宣传反邪教知识；增强信教群众的辨识能力，使其了解邪教危害。

盐城市公安局政保支队支队长刘杰指出，益林教堂作为盐城市首个设立反邪教教育基地的宗教场所，开创了全市宗教反邪教教育的新模式，对其他场所具有重要的示范意义。

盐城市委统战部副部长、市民宗局局长黄斌强调，全市宗教界要推进反邪教教育进场所、进社区、进家庭；引导信教群众与邪教划清界限，建立健康、积极的信仰生活。

Yancheng's first anti-cult education center was unveiled at Yilin Church in Funing county, Yancheng city, Jiangsu province.

The unveiling ceremony on October 25 was attended by several government leaders from Yancheng and Funing County, who led attendees on a tour of the education center, said Yancheng TSPM. Attendees watched a current anti-cult awareness film and learned about the city's achievements in anti-cult initiatives.

Chen Yanyan, head of the United Front Work Department of Funing county, emphasized that establishing the center is a pressing need in response to overseas Christian infiltration and the governance of illegal religious activities. 

Huang Bin, deputy minister of the Yancheng Municipal United Front Work Department, emphasized the need for the religious sector to extend anti-cult education to religious sites, communities, and families.
