Savior Church in Guangzhou set up the Wanfu (thousands of blessings) Reading Club to encourage its congregation to engage in deep reading and enhance their understanding of the Scriptures.

On October 27, Guangzhou Savior Church announced via its official WeChat account that the Wanfu Reading Club's initial session and opening ceremony will occur on November 3. The event will be conducted as a roundtable exchange with the theme "To Read or Not to Read, That Is the Question."

The notice emphasized that in the age of Internet fragmentation, even a few minutes of spare time can lead us to browse short videos, hindering our ability to engage in deep reading. However, skills including understanding and critiquing text, making connections, and applying knowledge require training through repeated, in-depth reading. Therefore, the host church invites believers to deepen their faith, using faith as a vessel and reading as an oar to discover the source of truth in the ocean of life.
