During the autumn baptism thanksgiving gathering held in Linfen Yaodu District Church, Shanxi province from August 16 to 18, a baptism service was held in the second service on the morning of the 18th with 53 seekers being baptized.
More than 100 believers and seekers from distinct pastoral districts and meeting points participated in the gathering. Pastor Yang Zhen from the Houma Church and Pastor Wang Zhigang from the Hongdong County Church were invited to deliver serial sermons “The Meaning of Baptism” and “To Know God.” They exemplified the essential truths of Christ through the combination of theological knowledge and examples, guiding the congregation in recognizing the true God, understanding the significance of baptism, and accepting the salvation of Jesus Christ, who shed his blood and gave his life on the cross. Therefore, the attendees could commit themselves to being crucified with the Lord and establish a close relationship with God.
In the baptism ceremony, Pastor Geng Fuqin preached a themed sermon. Afterward, nine men and 34 women were baptized into the name of the Lord. Following the baptisms, everyone participated in Holy Communion together.

山西省一教堂举行秋季施洗聚会，共53位慕道友受洗。
