The senior fellowship of a Liaoning church held a praise meeting to celebrate its fifth anniversary.
At Wenhua Road Church in Pulandian District, Dalian City, the Joshua Senior Fellowship has been established for five years. From over 100 people at the beginning, it has developed to over 500 people now. Most of the members are female believers, with the oldest being 90 and the youngest 60. The church divides the fellowship into 26 groups and then formed five large groups based on the 26 groups. The large groups report to the fellowship, and the fellowship reports to the church. It has formed an organization with leadership, activities, devotional practice, praise, and spiritual care.
The Fellowship aims to carry out independent activities around the main holy work and ministry and serve the elderly of the church. Besides gathering every Thursday and Sunday, they visit and care for believers, and participate in community charity activities.
During the praise meeting on August 3rd, Rev. Li Xuqing gave a sermon titled "Joy of Returning", citing Luke 15:24.
Then, group leaders, the first large group, the third large group, the praise team, and the elderly praise team performed about 20 songs, dances, and solos.
