Christian leaders from the three provinces of Shanxi, Jiangxi, and Fujian visited and funded grassroots pastors, church staff, and vulnerable groups before the Spring Festival.
Elder Yan Meiling, vice chairman of Jincheng Municipal TSPM in Shanxi Province, went to visit heads and predecessors of the church in Yangcheng County, Qinshui County, and other places on January 9, reported Jincheng CC&TSPM.
On January 13, Rev. Zeng Desheng, president of Longyan Municipal Christian Council in Fujian Province and chairman of Wuping County TSPM, paid a visit to households enjoying five guarantees in a village nursing home with cooking oil, rice, and homemade noodles, said Longyan CC&TSPM.
They were also going to care for needy people.
Rev. Yi Zaizhong, chairman and president of the Yichun Municipal CC&TSPM, visited the grassroots pastoral workers and staff members, providing funds and gifts, according to the Yichun Christian Council,
The news of awarding the title of "Five Best" religious activity venues to six meeting points, including Jesus Church in Yichun City and Hebei Church in Yuanzhou District, was announced.
Listening to the introduction of preparations for the establishment of the Yifeng County TSPM, Pastor Yi inspected the homestead being demolished to build a new gathering place, which had been approved by the government.
