Shaanxi Bible College Hosts Academic Forum 'The Grassland Silk Road and Chineses Silk'

在这次“长安论坛”中，《人类文化遗产保护》杂志主编李家骏教授受邀做分享。李教授从中华丝绸历史、民族文化的交融与影响、奇妙的民族特色丝绸服饰文化、丝绸与中华民族的振兴等方面，阐释了丝绸在中国历史悠久、它的精湛的工艺及丰富的文化内涵。

“此次讲座，使师生们了解到‘草原丝路’在中华文明发展的进程中所扮演的重要角色；中国丝绸文化对人类物质文明作出的重要贡献及对研究中西经济、文化发展所起的重要作用。”

Shaanxi Bible College hosted an academic forum entitled “The Grassland Silk Road and Chinese Silk”.

Professor Li Jiajun, editor-in-chief of the magazine Human Cultural Heritage Protection, was invited to speak in this Chang’an Forum on September 14, talking about the ancient history of silk production, exquisite workmanship, and rich cultural connotations of silk. He shared the perspectives of the history of Chinese silk, the fusion and influence of national cultures, the spectacular silk clothing culture of national characteristics, and the relationship between silk and the revitalization of the Chinese nation, according to CCC&TSPM.

“The lecture enabled teachers and students to understand the vital role 'The Grassland Silk Road' played in the development of Chinese civilization, and how essential the silk culture has been to mankind’s material civilization as well as to the study of economic and cultural development of the Chinese and Western nations," the school said.
