A preaching campaign around the sinicization of Christianity was carried out in Shenzhen churches.
On May 15, Sunday, in Shenzhen, the Guangdong Province Sinicization of Christianity education team hosted the first preaching event in 2022, which was delayed by the epidemic, according to CCC&TSPM.
In two churches, two members of the team gave two sermons online and in person, and the event was attended by more than 10,000 people.
Rev. Cai Bosheng, chairman and president of Shenzhen CC&TSPM, preached a sermon titled "Justice and Fairness, Like Light and Water" in Shenzhen Church. Another sermon with the title "Being a Patriotic Christian" was given in Nanshan Church by Rev. Ye Dongsheng, secretary general and deputy director of Shenzhen TSPM.
"The team shares the sound doctrine and the messages in line with the new era, as well as plays an active role in the country's economic development and promoting social stability and harmony by telling the stories of Guangdong well."
Guangdong CC&TSPM plans in long term to make use of the preaching team to promote Christianity in the Chinese context.
