Shaanxi Bible School Holds Lecture on Chorus and Choral Conducting

陕西圣经学校举办关于合唱与合唱指挥的讲座。

2022年4月13日下午，陕西圣经学校邀请国家一级指挥、陕西省歌舞剧院原指挥和艺术总监焦望曾先生在学校综合楼礼堂作关于“合唱与合唱指挥”讲座，据中国基督教两会报道

在讲座中，焦望曾先生分享了自己的求学经历，并结合自身丰富的指挥经验，为大家讲解合唱理论知识，现场指挥全体听众合唱《奇异恩典》，并以此为例，讲解合唱中的吐字、呼吸、发声技巧。

最后，陕西圣经学校校长王红牧师总结，肯定此次讲座丰富了课堂内容，对全体师生的合唱与合唱指挥带来新的启发。她鼓励全体师生在合唱与合唱指挥上不断学习、进深，提升合唱素养与指挥能力，更好地服务陕西教会。

Shaanxi Bible School held a lecture on chorus and choral conducting for its faculty and students.

In the lecture conducted on April 13, Mr. Jiao Wangzeng, a national first-class conductor and former conductor and artistic director of Shaanxi Provincial Song and Dance Theater, was invited to share his study experience and teach the theoretical knowledge of chorus combined with his conducting experience. After directing the entire audience to sing the hymn Amazing Grace, he explained the articulation, breathing, and vocal skills, according to CCC&TSPM.

Finally, Rev. Wang Hong, president of Shaanxi Bible School, made a conclusion that the lecture enriched classroom teaching content and brought inspiration to the chorus and chorus conducting of all teachers and students. She encouraged them to learn more about their chorus and chorus conducting techniques, improve their chorus literacy and conducting ability, aiming to better serve the church in Shaanxi.
