Heilongjiang Megachurch Suspends In-Person Services Due to Renovation

1月4日，哈尔滨市基督教哈利路亚礼拜堂发布通知，于1月5日起暂停聚会活动。通知称，该堂自2000年建成以来，随着时间推移，教堂建筑和设施出现了老化、故障等问题，教堂现已无法达到消防安全标准，因此在不能保证消防设施完整有效的情况下，不允许举办大型活动。

即日起，该堂主日崇拜、查经会、祷告会全部暂停，恢复时间另行通知。在此期间该堂会通过微信公众平台每日推送牧养灵修信息。

哈利路亚礼拜堂是哈尔滨市最大的教堂，可容纳4000人同时礼拜。

A Heilongjiang church announced the suspension of face-to-face gatherings to meet the fire safety standards.

On January 4, Harbin Hallelujah Church issued a notice, saying it would halt large-scale events from the following day on as it is unable to esnure the integrity and effectiveness of the fire protection facilities, as the church’s buildings and facilities had grown old and broken down since it was built in 2000.

It also stated that its Sunday worship, Bible study, and prayer meetings would all be suspended till further notice, while daily devotions will be posted on its official WeChat account.

As the largest church in Harbin, it can hold up to 4000 people to worship at the same time.
