A church in Weinan City, Shaanxi Province, provided free clinical healthcare in the countryside.
On August 24, Pastor Wei Fuhong, president of Linwei District Christian Council, led a group of eight medical staff from the church to Fengyuan Village, Fengyuan Town, to provide free clinical services for local villagers. The clinic includes gynecology, internal medicine, surgery, cervical vertebrae reduction, spine reduction, and more.
Welcoming the new clinic, the villagers received the medicine they needed. They said that the clinic deserved praise and recognition as a timely medical checkup could prevent them from developing serious diseases as well as increase their health knowledge. The free medicines also contributed to easing their economic burden.
Later, Pastor Wei Fuhong and his fellow colleagues went to Fengyuan Village and Liuyuan Village along with the company of a group of local villagers. They gave financial aid to impoverished undergraduates, encouraging the students to chase their dreams, sow kindness, help people who have difficulties, and contribute to society.
The free clinics and financial support for impoverished undergraduates costed around 20 thousand in total.
