Shanxi Church to Hold Baptism on Easter

日前，山西临汾市尧都区基督教两会发布了春季受洗通知，要求各牧区堂点团契组织受洗人员报名事宜，统计上报今年决志人员名单信息，包括姓名、性别、出生年月、文化程度、职业、联系电话、地址等。

计划于3月20日至4月3日举办慕道友受洗培训班，并将于4月4日复活节当天举行受洗圣礼。

据了解，按照惯例临汾尧都基督教会每年分别举行两次受洗圣礼，春天在复活节，秋季在七八月份。

去年由于疫情影响，春季没能举行，只在疫情后恢复礼拜举行了秋季施洗。

Recently, Yaodu District CC&TSPM of Linfen, Shanxi, said baptism will be conducted this Easter.

Local churches were required to report the list of candidates, including their names, gender, birth date, education level, occupation, contact number, and home address.

The catechism training class will run from March 20 to April 4, followed by the baptism service on April 4.

Traditionally, Yaodu Church holds biannual baptism services every Easter and every July or August.

Last year’s spring baptism was cancelled as the church was closed down due to the coronavirus pandemic, while the autumn service continued after reopening.
