Zhejiang Church Finishes Discipleship for 129 Members

Last Sunday, a church in Wenzhou, China's eastern coastal Zhejiang Province issued graduation certificates to 129 members who had received discipleship training.

According to Zhu’en Church in Longgang, it conducts the biannual, three to four month discipleship program for believers which is entitled, "New Life".

At the commencement ceremony, Elder Yang Jiehua encouraged the graduates to fully understand salvation, live as the Lord’s disciples, and continue the Great Commission. He suggested they promote church ministries through fellowships and being group-oriented. He added that more new believers could join the second training if some ministry structures could be adjusted. 

Using the principle of “equipping a few people to establish the majority,” the discipleship program is carried out in a one-on-one way.
