Fourteen churches in Beijing gradually resume worship services beginning on August 1, according to the work arrangements of Beijing Municipal Ethnic and Religious Committee.

According to Beijing CC&TSPM, these 14 churches are Chongwenmen Church, Kuanjie Church, Zhushikou Church, Chaoyang Church, Fengtai Church, Nanyuan Church, Mentougou Church, Tongzhou Church, Nankou Church, Daxing Gospel Church, Qian Daying Church, and Yizhuang gathering Site, Huairou Church, and Yanqing Church.

Some of the churches held a flag-raising ceremony before the first service.

The leaders of the core group of the municipal CC&TSPM led the staff in inspecting the reopened sites. The inspection showed that all the churches had posted signs regarding social distancing and other requirements. The pastoral staff and volunteers carefully checked everyone’s Beijing Health Code, registration information, and temperature. They reminded brothers and sisters to follow the health requirements and pay attention to the precautions when entering and leaving the church.

After entering the church, believers were shown to their assigned seats and the sanctuary was sanitized between the two services.
