Fujian Theological Seminary Holds Online Thesis Defense

福建神学院举行线上论文答辩 在执行延迟开学的情况下，4月22日，福建神学院为今年的本科应届毕业生组织举办了一场线上毕业论文答辩会.福建神学院应届本科毕业生参加答辩，50多位在校生在线旁听。 高大高校老师如中央民族大学宗教研究院院长游斌教授，厦门大学宗教学研究所所长、博士生导师黄永锋教授等应邀为本次毕业生论文答辩会进行了远程点评指导。答辩会开始前，福建神学院院长岳清华牧师勉励全院师生珍惜这一来之不易的学习环境和条件，在基督教中国化神学思想研究领域刻苦钻研地学习、孜孜不倦地探索。

Because of the suspension of on-site classes, on April 22 the Fujian Theological Seminary arranged for this year’s graduates to defend their theses online.

According to Chinese Religion, more than 50 undergraduate students listened in as the new graduates defended their work.

University teachers Professor Bin You, Dean of the Central Academy for Nationalities Religious Studies, and Professor Huang Yongfeng, Director of the Institute of Religious Studies of Xiamen University and doctoral supervisor, were invited to provide comments and guidance for the graduate thesis defense.

Prior to the start of the defense session, Pastor Yue Qinghua, the dean of Fujian Theological Seminary, encouraged the teachers and students to cherish this hard-won learning environment and to study hard and tirelessly in the field of sinicizing Christian theology.

Founded by the Fujian CC & TSPM in 1983, the college was the first provincial seminary established on the Chinese mainland since the Cultural Revolution.
