On August 8, 2019, a performance report for vocal music training was held in Harbin Daowai Church of Heilongjiang, according to the church.

Rev. Li Shufan, senior pastor of Daowai Church, encouraged every participant to be a singing priest who should serve God according to his/her talents and abilities, and through hymns, stay in harmony with the Lord and other Christians.

More than 100 choir members from Daowai Church and its campuses participated in the training that kicked off last September. It was supposed to be over in three months, but after several choirs required an extension of the training course, it continued for five more months. Teacher Wang Xiaofei, the choir leader of the local Dongfeng Church, was the speaker.
