Fujian Parish Holds First Sacred Choral Music Exchange Meeting

On July 27, 2019, the first sacred choral music exchange meeting of the Protestant parish in Yantian, Xiapu County in Fujian, was held in the local Nantang'ao Church.

It took the local parish's deacons, pastors and choir leaders seven months to prepare for this event.

More than 300 members from the seven local choirs participated in the meeting that was themed "Glorious Savior, Solely Jesus". Three judges also gave suggestions to each choir after their performance. Tablets were given to the choirs as the memento of the meeting.

In the afternoon, three music theory classes were taught by two teachers.

The purpose of the exchange meeting was to enhance the singing level of local choirs and encourage choirs to learn from one another.
