On June 9, 2019, about 500 people in the service witnessed 49 new members baptized in Kunming's Bei Chen Church in Yunnan province.

After the church's first baptism service of 2019, a pastor presided over the Holy Communion and the newly baptized Christians received the bread and the cup.

The pastor added, "Thank God that he adds to our numbers daily those who are being saved. May the 49 brothers and sisters who have received baptism from here on choose to be united with the Lord, bury their old selves and live out their new life in Christ."
