Zaoxi Church stands on the south foot of Mount Tianmu in Lin'an County, west of Hangzhou, Zhejiang.

The gospel was introduced into Zaoxi Town which is famous for its streams in 1980. In the early days, Christians gathered at a brother's home. In the following decade and more, the number of believers increased and the small house could not hold the congregation anymore.

In 1998, they purchased a land of 300 square meters (0.074 acres). The church construction was started in the same year. With a main hall on the first floor, the three-story church was dedicated after the completion.
