As Siyang County in Jiangsu Province works to create the atmosphere of a "national civilized" city, the local three-self council also actively participated in two ways.

The first was to carry out a pledge activity in all Christian churches in the county of "Siyang Christian Civilization: It's up to us to win the national civilized city." The purpose was to disseminate the meaning of creating civilized cities and the responsibility of Christians. "Civilized Language in Christian Church" will also be written and sent to all churches and gatherings.

The second was to mobilize volunteers as "civilized advisors" to guide people crossing the street at intersections, and to enhance civilized awareness and responsibility.
