Last Sunday, a church in Guangdong Province hosted an ordination ceremony and a lecture on the sinicization of Christianity.

On August 25, Shanwei Church ordained five pastoral staff as elders, including two women, said Guangdong Provincial CC&TSPM.

During the Sunday worship, Rev. Guo Yun, president of the Guangdong Christian Council (CC), delivered a sermon on the theme of "Keep Watch Over Yourself and All the Flock," focusing on the sinicization of Christianity. He exhorted the to-be ordained to embody the mind of Christ, be mindful in their words and actions for themselves and the congregation, serve as role models for believers in all good things, and nurture the Lord's church with faithfulness and kindness.
