An ordination ceremony took place in China’s southwestern Yunnan Province.

About 200 believers attended the event conducted by Yunnan CC&TSPM on June 2 at Chengqu Church in Mengzi City, Honghe Prefecture, reported CCC&TSPM.

The ordination ceremony was presided over by Rev. Deng Jianwei, president of the Yunnan Christian Council and dean of Yunnan Theological Seminary.

The pastorate ordained a female elder, named Xu Shuangfen, and seven pastors, including Yang Guangde and Zhao Xianlan.

Yang Guangde spoke on behalf of the newly appointed ministers.
