An ordination service was held in Shandong Province, eastern China.

At the Center Church in Zichuan District, Zibo City, on April 17, Rev. Meiqin Dong, the director of Shandong Provincial TSPM, encouraged the to-be-ordained to accept willingly the appointment which is God's will rather than a personal one and to pastor believers by setting an example rather than a precept, reported Shandong TSPM.

With the laying-on of hands officiated by Rev. Mengkun Wang, Liuxiao Yang (female), Xiaoyun Zhang (female), and Ping Bian were ordained as pastors, and Chunhui Yin and Jun Wan as elders. They were also granted the Bibles and the clerical stoles.
